Basilicata is a fabulous place for a horse riding holiday and offers a wide variety of landscapes to explore.

You will experience local hospitality whilst riding across beautiful countryside of mountains and lakes, cornfields, olive groves and vineyards.

My Italian Job offers 1/2 day to 5 day horse riding packages for groups of a maximum ten riders (minimum 4-6 people).

Non-riders are also welcome and can follow the riders in the support vehicle, assist with preparation of lunch or just enjoy the surrounding countryside. An experienced group manager with intricate local knowledge will accompany all groups. Prices include insurance are designed for all levels although holidays of more than 1 day are more suited to those with some experience on horseback.

Shorter holidays are based out of a farmhouse in the countryside near Matera and includes accommodation with half board. Each day you will explore different areas of the countryside and pass through local villages.

Longer holidays cover a larger expanse of Basilicata and each night the group will sleep in different farmhouses dotted around the countryside, all equipped with stables. 

Half board is included and a support vehicle will follow the group each day to transfer luggage.
